Ferrovial Construction is looking for Quantity Surveyor Interns to assist with commercial management/contract administration at Heathrow Airport from June to the end of August 2026. The Ferrovial NextGen Internship programme is designed to develop personal, professional and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of our Senior Quantity Surveyors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day‑to‑day bill of quantities to ensure financial efficiencies.
- Analyse subcontractor valuations.
- Assist in cost control in line with the business's financial systems.
- Liaise with procurement teams to ensure compliance with financial parameters.
- Assist in the production and monitoring of applications/final accounts/payment certificates/change control.
- Check agreed sub‑contract applications/accounts.
- Document control.
- Contribute to health and safety compliance per company policy.
- Promote company values in all dealings with employees, clients, subcontractors, and external contacts.
Required Skills and Competence

- Excellent written and oral English.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Currently studying a degree or master’s in quantity surveying.
- Motivated to learn and add value to the team.
