We are looking for graduate engineers to assist with, and in some cases be responsible for, day‑to‑day activities on a variety of major UK infrastructure projects. The 2‑year graduate development programme will develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach under the supervision of Section/Project Managers and the site team.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will either be assigned a project or a small package to manage from start to finish, contributing to health and safety compliance and ensuring project quality.
Key Accountabilities
  • Assist in coordinating team activities to ensure projects are completed on budget and on time.
  • Ensure projects comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Support the Project Manager with team management, resourcing, performance management, and employee development.
  • Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values and take ownership of assigned work.
  • Adhere to safe working practice regulations on site and ensure all staff comply.
Skills and Competence
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels.
  • Degree or master’s in engineering (all disciplines considered).
  • Motivated to learn and add value to the team and the graduate programme.
  • Analytical thinker who enjoys problem solving.
  • Proven team player capable of working effectively with others.
  • Proactive approach to work and learning.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the industry.
  • Familiar with all Microsoft Office packages.
