For this varied and dynamic role, we are seeking someone with a can-do attitude and a positive mindset to maintain and continuously improve our validation activities. The successful candidate will work cross functionally qualifying new packaging lines and ancillary equipment in our new facility in East Kilbride.
We are offering a permanent, full time role which includes a competitive salary, annual performance bonus, company pension, life assurance, private medical care and onsite parking. We also offer 25 days annual leave + 9 public holidays.
Job Description
- Lead and carry out validation activities throughout the facility
- Create Validation Schedule and provide monthly updates
- Ensure validation status for all GxP systems including equipment, processes, utilities and cleaning
- Update site validation SOP’s as required
- Prepare validation protocols and reports
- Carry out Process Performance Qualification & Continuous Process Verification
- Perform Computerised System Validations including Computerised system assessments, Data Integrity assessments
- Carry out GxP Risk Assessments for Equipment/Product changes or repairs
- Support and prepare Change Controls, CAPA’s and Deviations
- Liaise with vendors during new equipment Design and FAT/SAT stages
- Review vendor validation packages for completeness, accuracy and compliance to validation policies
- Carry out temperature mapping of product storage areas
Experience / Skills
- Degree level in a scientific or engineering discipline
- 3 years’ experience with pharmaceutical production preferred
- Knowledge of GMP preferred
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office and Minitab
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Core business hours 08:30 to 16:30, with flexitime
