As VP of Reproductive Medicine, you will strengthen and build the future of our Reproductive Medicine portfolio by driving innovation in clinical development and evidence generation, while serving as a trusted medical and scientific advisor for global project teams and government regulatory agencies. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, your leadership will be instrumental in strategy development for the therapeutic area.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Designing and overseeing the direction, planning, execution, monitoring, interpretation and reporting of clinical research programs from phases I–IV inclusive, including clinical trials, real world evidence studies and other evidence generation activities relating to studies of humans.
- Building relationships with key opinion leaders and applying their input to enhance study design and protocols.
- Assuring that clinical research program design meets scientific objectives and is aligned with commercial needs.
- Serving as medical/scientific consultant to global brand or global project teams and government regulatory agencies.
- Establishing the criterion essential for determining the safety, efficacy, and medical utility of products in development or marketed products.
- Supporting the reporting of information submitted to the regulatory agencies for new drug or medical device applications and to sustain marketing authorizations, including label updates.
- Participating in and coordinating adverse event reporting and safety responsibilities monitoring, signing off on product safety reviews.
A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree is required, preferably with a specialization in gynecology and obstetrics, or endocrinology. In addition to solid expertise as a clinician, the candidate must have strong pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably from a medical and/or clinical and/or pharmacovigilance organization. Strong stakeholder management skills, as well as ability to navigate organizational complexity and ambiguity. Experience managing a team in a matrix organization is an asset. Strategic mindset, forward looking. Exceptional communication and influencing skills. Able to adapt communication style to all levels.
