The Role
Our Contracts Delivery team is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the team in our office in East Kilbride.
The ideal candidate will preferably have experience working in the water and wastewater sector or a similar industry. The role will primarily involve the mechanical installation, of pumps, screens & rotating equipment including pipework, valves and ancillary equipment across Scotland.

REQUIREMENTS
- Fitter with relevant experience
- Experience in pipe work assembly including PVC, ABS, ductile iron, galvanise and stainless steel
- Experience with the installation of pumps incl. centrifugal, multistage and progressive cavity pumps.
- Good time management
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written communication with an ability to follow, interpret and explain technical instructions.
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to all engineering trades, particularly Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering
- Must demonstrate good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in a team
- Working knowledge of current H&S legislation as well as ability to comply with Risk Assessments and Method Statements
