As the Category Development Manager, you become a trusted partner to Sales & Marketing, shaping how our brands live and grow across your assigned channels and categories. You will bring clarity, care and craft to the way we plan, ensuring every activation reflects our brand spirit and delivers real value for our customers. You will also look at our performance with a curious, analytical eye, spot what can be improved and help turn insights into action and implementation in store.
Main Responsibilities:
- Guide the development of the Trade Marketing plan for your category, keeping it fully aligned with our brand vision.
- Explore opportunities and challenges for each customer and help define clear listing recommendations while shaping activation guidelines that bring our products to life.
- Understand the unique role each channel and customer plays in your growing categories.
- Partner with Key Account Manager and build customer plans that reflect our strategy, prepare compelling selling arguments and ensure every element of each offer is complete and coherent.
- Actively contribute to annual planning by mapping the future landscape and identifying growth paths.
- Analyse Ferrero’s performance plans across customers and competitors, uncovering the drivers behind results and highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Create channel-level planograms and guide secondary placements that strengthen visibility and contribute to the category vision.
- Identify growth drivers whilst working closely with internal teams and customers.
