We are looking for a Supply Planner to join Ferrero UK & Ireland and play a critical role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantities, and with the best possible freshness for our customers. Working at the heart of our Supply Chain Planning team, you will be responsible for balancing customer demand, inventory levels and manufacturing constraints across a portfolio of iconic Ferrero brands. You will manage inventory and replenishment plans, ensuring product availability whilst optimising stock levels and minimising waste across the network.
This role requires close collaboration with Demand Planning, Sales, Central Planning teams, Manufacturing sites and third-party logistics providers to ensure supply plans remain aligned to changing business requirements. You will play a key role in managing supply risks, supporting new product launches, coordinating range changes and developing service protection plans for major commercial and operational events.
Alongside day-to-day planning activities, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, using data and insight to identify opportunities to improve service levels, inventory performance and overall supply chain efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
As Supply Planner, you will take ownership of inventory planning and replenishment activities for a portfolio of products, ensuring stock is available to meet customer demand whilst maintaining optimal inventory levels and freshness targets. You will create and manage supply plans within defined planning constraints, balancing service, cost and operational requirements.
Working closely with Central Planning teams, manufacturing sites and logistics partners, you will ensure inventory is positioned effectively across the UK & Ireland network, proactively identifying and managing supply risks, shortages and potential surplus stock. You will develop mitigation plans and work collaboratively across functions to protect customer service levels and minimise waste.
A key aspect of the role will involve supporting business-critical activities such as product launches, promotional events, range changes and factory shutdowns. You will coordinate planning activities across multiple stakeholders, ensuring supply plans remain aligned and potential issues are identified and resolved at the earliest opportunity.
You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting supply chain performance, analysing service, inventory and supply metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Using a structured and analytical approach, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help drive enhancements to planning processes, tools and ways of working.
In addition, you will work closely with Demand Planning and Commercial teams to balance inventory across sales channels, manage constrained supply situations and support business decision-making through clear communication and data-led recommendations.
About You:
We are looking for a highly analytical and organised Supply Planning professional with experience operating within a fast-paced Supply Chain environment. You will have a strong understanding of inventory management, supply planning and replenishment principles, together with the ability to balance competing priorities and make informed decisions in a dynamic environment.
You will be comfortable working with large volumes of data and possess advanced analytical skills, including strong Excel capability and experience using planning systems such as SAP APO, SAP IBP or similar supply chain planning tools. Your ability to interpret complex information, identify risks and translate data into actionable plans will be critical to your success.
You will be a confident communicator who can build effective relationships across multiple functions and influence stakeholders at different levels of the organisation. Experience working within FMCG, Manufacturing, Food Production or Retail Supply Chains would be highly advantageous, particularly within environments where service, freshness and inventory optimisation are key business drivers.
This role would suit individuals currently working as a Supply Planner, Inventory Planner, Replenishment Planner, Production Planner, Materials Planner or Supply Chain Planner who are looking to further develop their career within a leading global FMCG organisation.
