This is an exciting opportunity to join Ferrero's global IT community within the Centre of Expertise team. As a COE Trade Architect, you will be responsible for aligning the application landscape with business requirements and defining the application strategy and architecture for your assigned capability areas.
You will identify the applications, interfaces and infrastructure components needed to support business operations, ensuring that all architecture decisions are scalable, futureāready and aligned with enterprise standards. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will provide technical leadership to development and implementation teams, maintain uniform design principles, and support the evolution of Ferrero's Trade, Sales and Finance technology ecosystem across the UK and the wider Group.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture for your assigned business capabilities, ensuring that all application and infrastructure components align with Ferrero's enterprise design standards.
- Shape the future application landscape by identifying optimisation opportunities, proposing strategic improvements and ensuring solutions support both commercial and IT objectives.
- Define major aspects of the application and infrastructure architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise principles.
- Provide technical leadership to development and implementation teams, including performing design and code reviews.
- Support lifecycle management activities, including enhancements, integrations, upgrades and decommissioning of obsolete systems.
- Ensure new solutions and enhancements meet business needs and comply with architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners, contributing to supplier evaluation and ensuring delivery quality.
About You:
You will bring a blend of technical expertise, commercial understanding and the ability to influence architectural decisions in a complex, multiāapplication environment. Your experience enables you to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions while fostering effective collaboration across global teams.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in IT project management and strong knowledge of planning and forecasting applications (SAP CRMāTPM/TM/TMA).
- Proven capability working within multiāapplication environments, ideally within FMCG or similar industries.
- Excellent analytical ability and strong proficiency in Excel.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with experience in multinational settings.
- A collaborative, flexible and resultsāoriented approach, with strong understanding of commercial and business processes.
