We are looking for a motivated Health & Safety Specialist to join our manufacturing plant in Pozzuolo Martesana (MI), Italy. This role offers the opportunity to play an active role in ensuring a safe workplace, supporting the business in meeting legal requirements and internal standards, and contributing to the development of a strong safety culture on site.
As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will ensure that working conditions comply with all relevant legal requirements and internal standards. This includes keeping risk assessments up to date, completing training plans, managing contractors, handling incidents, and defining and monitoring action plans. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining all necessary health and safety documentation for external agencies, firms, and government bodies.
You will oversee periodic reporting on health and safety KPIs and support various departments by ensuring the consistent application and control of procedures and corporate policies. Your role will also involve advising on the interpretation and implementation of mandatory health and safety laws, offering technical expertise where needed.
You will bring your degree in Engineering, "Tecniche della prevenzione nell’ambiente e nei luoghi di lavoro", or an equivalent qualification, and have developed a solid foundation in Health & Safety within structured organizations, preferably in a manufacturing context.
You take ownership of your work and approach challenges with curiosity and initiative, operating confidently in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities and sensitive topics with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset. You collaborate effectively across functions, communicate clearly at all organizational levels, and balance a hands-on operational approach with analytical thinking and strong attention to documentation and compliance.
You are certified as ASPP or RSPP and open to working in an international and multicultural environment. You are proficient in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Forms, and Power BI. Fluency in both Italian and English is essential to succeed in the role.
