About the Role: Senior Python Developer – London
We are a fast-growing London-based technology startup on a mission to build the next generation of intelligent data infrastructure. As we scale, we're looking for a talented Senior Python Developer to join our team and help shape the future of our platform.
The Role: This is a pivotal engineering role within our core product team. You'll design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and cloud-native solutions, working closely with our infrastructure, data, and AI teams. You'll have genuine ownership of your work and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.
Essential Requirements: All of the following are mandatory for this role:
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience, with a strong track record delivering production-grade applications
- Strong proficiency in both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deploying and managing cloud infrastructure at scale
- Deep expertise in serverless architecture, specifically AWS Lambda and S3 storage, including design patterns, performance optimisation, and cost management
- Practical experience working with AI large language models such as OpenAI's ChatGPT or Anthropic's Claude, whether through API integration, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted product development
- A university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline
