About the Role: We’re looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to support our UK business with practical, business-focused legal advice. In this role, you’ll work closely with teams across the company to support day-to-day operations and help navigate commercial, contractual, and regulatory matters with confidence. It’s a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of their work while being part of a collaborative, experienced legal team.
Main Responsibilities:
- You’ll take the lead on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier, customer, and service contracts.
- You’ll provide timely legal input on operational matters, advise on compliance issues, and support business teams in managing risk.
- You’ll also contribute to internal policy updates, help with contract lifecycle management, and work closely with senior lawyers on more complex or cross-border matters when needed.
About You: You’re a qualified solicitor with a solid grounding in commercial law and a clear understanding of how legal advice fits into business priorities. You’ve worked in-house or in private practice supporting commercial clients and feel comfortable managing contracts and advising stakeholders independently. You enjoy problem-solving, bring a balanced and pragmatic approach, and know how to communicate legal points in a way that’s clear and actionable for non-lawyers.
