About the Role: The aim of daily job is to support the Employee life cycle operations according to the business needs and legal regulations. Position handles local requests, follows policies and procedures, facilitates continuous improvement of HR and workplace management services locally. Supervises employee relationships within departments in his/her scope, being the first interface with line managers for any HR related matter, addressing employees’ requests in a timely manner. Supports the responsible in defining the HR management priorities for the departments of his/her responsibility (in accordance with the HR guidelines and the business needs), deploying all the HR processes during the year. Contributes to enhance employees’ engagement and to improve their performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensures that company’s and employee-related records are accurate, accessible, secure and in compliance with UK Labour law which includes job history, employee contracts and leave records, details of illness, absences, transfers and salary progression.
- Liases with the company lawyer on complex issues and external payroll provider on payroll processing and data inputs and accuracy.
- Responds to enquiries from employees, managers and external agencies on HR information without compromising the standards of privacy and confidentiality.
- Recommends changes to ensure policies and procedures are competitive and in line with company needs.
- Prepares all HR reports and is responsible and manage all data in SAP – HRE.
- Keeping track / update of all job descriptions.
Who we are looking for:
- English - fluent oral and written knowledge
- SAP knowledge
- Awareness and knowledge of UK Labour legislation (as a must)
- Negotiation skills and good organizational skills
- Reliability, accuracy and confidentiality as personality qualities
- Ability to work independently, to take initiatives and follow-up on assigned projects
- Ability to communicate plans across a cross-functional and/or highly matrixed organization
