  • An established property business is seeking an experienced

HR Manager to take ownership of the complete HR and recruitment function for approximately 40 employees across five London offices.

This is a standalone, generalist role reporting directly to the Directors, offering significant autonomy and responsibility across employee relations, recruitment, compliance, policies, payroll liaison and employee engagement.

External HR/legal support is available for more complex matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee relations.
  • Lead investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the full recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Support payroll, pensions and benefits administration.
  • Coordinate training, compliance and staff development activities.
  • Manage HR records and ensure employment law compliance.

About You

  • Proven standalone HR generalist experience within an SME environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases independently.
  • Confident running end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Highly organised, proactive and capable of working autonomously.
  • Experience within property, professional services or a similar environment would be advantageous.
  • CIPD not essential.

Package

  • Salary: £55,000 (pro rata)
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Additional holiday for length of service (up to 5 extra days)
  • Christmas office closure in addition to annual leave allowance
  • Working Pattern
  • 3 consecutive office-based days per week
  • 9am to 6pm
