The predicted salary is between 25396 - 31040 £ per year.
This is a fast-paced dynamic warehouse environment and involves physically demanding tasks including lifting (up to 25kg) and standing / walking for extended periods of time (up to 7.5 hours depending on shift). The shipping lanes / outbound is a very demanding area of the business.
Shift: 1430 - 2300 Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and check incoming goods for quality and quantity
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with company procedures
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided if required)
- Carry out stock checks, cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles efficiently
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety issues promptly to management
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and safety
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred but not essential
- Ability to work physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order processing
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends if required
- Basic IT skills for data entry and scanning tasks
