Contribute to the management & development of a large customer of Ferrari by supporting the Global Accounts Manager in charge.
Location: London. Wished start: Q1 2026. Recruitment process: interview process => mid-Nov to Mid-Dec, target => decision made before year-end.
The Deputy will work alongside the Global Account Manager on all activities (shipping, warehousing, event management, other services) and geographical areas of the customer. Double reporting line: Director of Global Accounts and the GAM.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Global Account Manager and the countries of operations.
- Support the GAM on daily business/operations (escalation point).
- Manage analytics and quantitative aspects (rates, performance KPIs, flow analyses).
- Support the GAM, tender team and the countries on RFQs and commercial activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of communication materials.
- Contribute to event management execution.
- Be a recognised and trusted speaking partner for the teams across Ferrari’s network.
- Substitute the GAM as a direct contact for the customer when needed.
Travel: 40% of the time during the first 6 months, 20% of the time after. Predominantly a handful of European locations. Occasionally overseas.
Profile:
- Approximately 6 to 10 years experience in transport operations and freight forwarding and/or customer service. More senior profiles can be considered.
- Knowledge of the luxury industry (watches & jewellery) is a plus.
- Capability to successfully manage tight deadlines and intense workload at times.
- Fluent English is a must. Italian and/or French appreciated.
Evolution / next step: after 18 to 36 months, become a Global Account Manager.
