We are delighted to be working alongside Nottingham City Council to build and provide a new SEND provision here at The Fernwood School. As such we are looking to appoint a Primary Trained Teacher to work alongside our established Study Support Team to teach within the new provision.
Responsibilities
- The postholder will plan and deliver a personalised, alternative curriculum focusing on early years/KS1 outcomes, adapted for secondary aged students.
- They will work closely with the SENDCO, teaching staff, external agencies, and the study support team to ensure the students' needs are met through high‑quality lessons.
Qualifications
- The role requires an experienced primary school trained teacher with SEND knowledge and experience to use a range of multi‑sensory, play‑based and structured approaches to teach a small group of students with varying needs.
