Our Mission is to be the preferred choice in our field by adding value to our business partners without compromise to quality, safety or the environment.
Ferns are currently recruiting for Grab Drivers and Tarmac Reinstatement teams to work on our Water utilities contract. The yard is based in Heathrow. You will be required to work in and around the surrounding areas of London, including Thames Valley regions with an immediate start. Candidates will be self-motivated, conscientious and able to demonstrate knowledge and experience within the industry.
Day to Day Tasks and Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out backfilling and muck away operations.
- Carry out reinstatement of tarmac.
- Complete all relevant paperwork to complete your day to day tasks – risk assessments etc.
- Good customer service skills are required as dealing with internal and external personnel.
Required Qualifications:
- Class 2 HGV with clamshell ticket and CPC for Grab Driver.
- 7.5T driving licence for 1 x Tarmac Operative.
- Streetworks ticket per team.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6am – 4pm. Overtime and weekend availability.
Compensation:
- Grab Driver: £190 per day.
- Tarmac Teams: £150 – £180 per day.
