Independently owned Environmental Consultancies, with offices in the North and South of the country are now looking to expand their Midlands coverage due to new contracts. They are currently looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join a well-established team of assessors and water hygiene engineers (team of 7). You will be responsible for delivering high-quality legionella risk assessments across a range of large commercial sites in the Midlands. Sites will include:

  • Schools and Educational establishments
  • Retail outlets
  • Social Housing
  • Multi-Occupancy
  • Care Homes

Duties of the Legionella Risk Assessor will include:

  • Legionella Risk Assessing (90% of the time)
  • Writing detailed reports using bespoke company software
  • Undertake basic water hygiene where required
  • Reporting into head office recommending future work
  • 1 day working from home for report writing (This can be flexible)

Legionella Risk Assessor experience required:

  • 3+ years working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  • Proven experience covering water hygiene and plumbing duties beneficial
  • Hold industry qualifications such as Legionella Awareness and City and Guilds Hot and Cold Water Systems course and C&G risk assessment course if risk assessor (C&G or equivalent)
  • Excellent customer service skills, dealing with customers face to face, maintaining site standards
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • A full UK driving licence and ability to cover the Midlands
