London based water treatment company are actively looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their South-East team. The role is a mixture of water hygiene compliance and water treatment in construction, where no day is the same.
Attending various sites around the UK (mainly London/South-East) from schools through to retail and industrial, you will carry out water hygiene tasks in accordance with ACOP L8 and also attend sites when needed to carry out commissioning of new pipework and water sampling.
Work will include:
- CWST Cleans and Chlorination
- Mains Pipework Chlorination
- External Main Pipework Chlorination & Pressure Tests
- Water Sampling
- Closed System Analysis & Dosing
- Basic Remedial Works
- Legionella Monitoring (temps, showers etc)
To apply for the Water Hygiene Engineer role the following experience is required:
- 3+ years’ experience work as a Water Hygiene Engineer or similar
- Any plumbing qualifications seen as beneficial but not essential
- Full driving license
- DBS checked or be able to pass all checks
