Established London-based legionella compliance consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team and work on specific contracts in the North London area.
The successful Water Hygiene Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned water hygiene tasks across specific contracts including offices, council buildings, wardened accommodation (plant rooms rather than property) and primary/secondary schools.
Duties for the Water Hygiene Engineer will include:
- Temperature monitoring and testing.
- Hot and cold-water system inspections.
- Showerhead cleaning and disinfection.
- Cold water storage tank inspections.
- TMV servicing and general maintenance.
- Maintaining site logbooks.
- Identifying further work required and ensuring all work follows ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
To apply for the Water Hygiene Engineer position the following experience is required:
- A minimum of 18 months working in a Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician position.
- Full UK driving licence.
- An eagerness to attend internal and external training courses to develop your skillset.
- An understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines.
- Enhanced DBS preferred.
