Health and Safety Consultancy who provide End-to-End compliance solutions are actively looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join the team and work on a range of clients across the UK including healthcare, industrial, education and offices. Joining a team of 10, this role is the perfect opportunity for a candidate who is looking for further training opportunities and the option to progress within the business picking up various City and Guilds qualifications along the way. Other courses to include Diploma/NVQ in Plumbing and Legionella Risk Assessment through WMS.

To apply for the position, the successful candidate will demonstrate a stable career background, an interest in picking up new skills and the flexibility to work on client sites across the UK.

Skill Set Summary:
  • 2+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer and ideally be working for a water consultancy.
  • Be experienced in temperature monitoring, sampling, showerhead descales and TMV servicing.
  • Experience in disinfections and mains injections beneficial - training provided.
  • Be based in the Midlands and hold a full driving license.
  • Be happy with UK travel.
  • DBS checked (enhanced preferred).
Key duties will include:
  • Legionella compliance monitoring.
  • Water sampling, monitoring and temperature testing.
  • TMV servicing and maintenance.
  • Tank inspections and cleans.
  • Showerhead and tap descales.
  • Ensuring all sites are compliant to ACOP L8 & HSG274 guidelines.

The Water Hygiene Engineer will be provided with a full benefits package, have travel time incorporated into their day and unlimited overtime.
