Water Hygiene Engineer – Essex/Kent £26000-£32000 + Overtime + Van (Private use) – based on a 40-hour week Privately owned Water Consultancy who cover Essex, Kent and London are expanding their water hygiene team and currently require a Water Hygiene Engineer with a minimum of 3 years consistent career track record working in a similar role. You will work across a diverse portfolio of sites, including high-rise residential, major tourist attractions, schools, healthcare facilities, care homes/assisted living centres, and local government buildings. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential water safety and compliance services in some of the most high-profile locations in the South East. Currently duties for the Water Hygiene Engineer will include: * Collect water samples from taps, tanks, and outlets for testing. * Monitor and record water temperatures at various system points. * Service thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) and water treatment equipment. * Conduct visual inspections of water systems to identify issues. * Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) logbooks accurately. The successful Water Hygiene Engineer will ideally have the following background: * Proven experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer * Ideally hold external training qualifications in water hygiene * Have undertaking internal training courses. * Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) * A full UK driving licence This Water Hygiene Engineer role offers excellent training and development into risk management and assessment, an existing team to allow regionalised work, structured work schedules and a clear career path allowing you to progress internally within the business.
