A specialist water hygiene and treatment consultancy, which also offers complete FM solutions covering electrical and mechanical contracts, is looking to recruit specifically in the Cambridge area. Currently required is a Water Hygiene Engineer who is keen to work on commercial sites in this region, including offices, education, universities, and large commercial buildings.

The Water Hygiene Engineer role will come with specific training as our client is keen to develop the successful applicant's skill set further, but ideally, the next hire will have the following background:

  • 4+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a water consultancy
  • Proven track record working in commercial settings (residential beneficial)
  • A thorough understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274
  • Be based within 45 minutes of Cambridge
  • Duties experience including Hot and Cold-Water Tank Inspections, Closed System Analysis, routine Water Hygiene Monitoring and Testing, Sampling, Monitoring and Descales, TMV Servicing, and basic Remedial work
  • Hold a full driving license
