Up to £34000 + Van (private use) + benefits

Established over 20 years, our client is a specialist water treatment and hygiene company providing practical compliance, maintenance, and system management services on commercial and industrial sites. They are actively looking for a Maintenance Plumber to join an existing team carrying out project work on locations across the North-West and towards the Midlands.

Planned stay aways will be required on occasion and the Maintenance Plumber will be provided with any additional training, travel bonus and a variety of site work to upskill their already established knowledge base.

Key responsibilities for the Maintenance Plumber will include:

  • Ensuring sites are compliant to ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Inspecting/repairing hot and cold-water systems, sanitary ware, pumps and pipework
  • Installing, servicing and replacing TMVs (thermostatic mixing valves)
  • Maintaining all site paperwork and liaising with head office on future works
  • Carrying out leak detection and identifying any loss of pressure
  • Basic water hygiene responsibilities such as temperature monitoring, flushing outlets, and on occasion tank cleans

To apply for the Maintenance Plumber position the following experience is required:

  • Level 2 diploma in Plumbing (other qualifications also of interest including G3 unvented)
  • Be fully qualified with experience working independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of Cold & Hot Water Tanks beneficial – training provided
  • Full driving License
  • DBS Checked
  • Ability to do planned stay aways when required
