Based in the Tonbridge area, £36,000-£44,000 + Van + Overtime + Benefits. A London-based water treatment consultancy specialising in legionella control, risk assessments, and preventative maintenance services is expanding their plumbing division and currently requires a Maintenance/Install Plumber who is equally proficient in install and remedial work. Covering the London and South-East region, occasional work will take you outside this area, but this will not be expected frequently. Flexibility around the London/South-East region is essential.

To apply for the Maintenance/Install Plumber, the successful applicant will have the following experience:

  • Proven experience working on commercial sites carrying out a mixture of install and maintenance plumbing duties
  • Level 2 and/or Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing
  • Full driving license
  • DBS checked
  • Flexibility on work locations and an interest in planned overtime

Joining a plumbing division of 12, work is split regionally where possible and ideally candidates will be within 1 hour of the office to pick up materials when needed. Typical sites for the Maintenance/Install Plumber will include Offices, Nurseries, Schools, Health Care, Gyms, and Residential (plant rooms) and duties will include:

  • Install/modify pipework (15mm to 6”)
  • TMV installs/servicing
  • Flushing
  • Deadlegs
  • Calorifier installs
  • Water tank repair/replace and valve replacement
  • Water Hygiene duties such as sampling, monitoring, and water tank servicing
