Our client, a Building Services Consultancy that provides legionella compliance services, is growing their Northern team and is actively looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover the North-West and North of the country including Manchester, Sheffield, Barnsley, and Crewe. Sites will be varied with new contracts also being finalised in the same area. Some stay aways may be required, but this will be infrequent due to site locations.
To apply for the Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician role, the following experience is required:
- 3+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Knowledge of sampling, monitoring, tank cleans, TMV servicing, and descales
- Full driving license
- Ability to undertake overtime where required
- DBS Checked
The Water Hygiene Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all sites remain legionella compliant in line with ACoP L8 and 274 guidelines. Further work required is communicated to head office, and junior members of the team are provided with expert guidance where needed.
