Office based Accounts Supervisor position (hybrid options available) based near West Northampton, offering a salary of £28,000-£32,000 + Benefits. A family-owned Environmental Consultancy with over 35 staff is actively growing as a business. To ensure the high standards of the company are maintained, they are looking for an Accounts Supervisor who is ready to take the next step in their career and eventually move into a management position.
The Accounts Supervisor role will initially be office based to help with integration into the team. Reporting into the Operations Director, the successful candidate will play a key part in the day-to-day management of all financial processes (internal and external), ensuring everything runs smoothly and best practices are maintained at all times.
The ideal applicant will have as many of the following qualifications:
- 5+ years working in a commercial finance department
- Proven experience using accountancy software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Full driving license
- Finance/Accountancy qualifications seen as beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work to project deadlines
Duties for the Accounts Supervisor will include:
- Assisting with payroll and processing staff expenses
- Raising credit notes and managing client queries (phone & email)
- Ensuring all information on QuickBooks is accurate
- Managing the day-to-day accounts processes and internal emails
- Producing weekly finance reports
- VAT reports
