A specialist environmental compliance company delivering legionella management solutions is actively looking for a Maintenance Plumber / Remedial Plumber to join their Midlands team, looking after commercial sites including Schools, Retail, Hospitality, Offices and the Public Sector. Regional work is provided to ensure workload is managed effectively, and our client will also offer industry training in plumbing plus other fields including water hygiene, fire risk and asbestos.
To apply for the Maintenance Plumber / Remedial Plumber position, the following experience is required:
- Over 5+ years operating as a Maintenance Plumber / Remedial Plumber ideally with some experience covering commercial sites
- Knowledge of water hygiene compliance such as sampling, monitoring, TMV servicing and tank cleans would be beneficial
- Level 2 NVQ qualified in plumbing (diploma also considered)
- Full UK driving licence and DBS checked
The Maintenance Plumber / Remedial Plumber will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Removal of dead legs
- Repairing faulty pipework
- Temperature corrections
- Water hygiene compliance
- Cleaning/replacing cold water storage tanks
- Maintaining site paperwork including highlighting further work requirements
