Our client, a South-East based water consultancy with a head office in Essex, is expanding their service team and currently requires a Maintenance Plumber / Remedial Plumber to work on commercial projects across South West and Central London (some work in East London may also be required).
To apply for the Maintenance Plumber role, the following experience is required:
- 5+ years working as a Maintenance Plumber or Remedial Plumber carrying out PPM, Reactive and where needed Upgrades.
- Hold minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing.
- Proven track record working in commercial settings.
- Be based in the London area.
- Full driving license.
- Knowledge covering water hygiene duties including sampling, monitoring, tank cleans and disinfections.
Key duties for the Maintenance Plumber will include:
- Duties include – deadleg removals and capping, stabbing points, TMV servicing, pipe refits, tank replacements.
- Maintain site logbooks.
- Undertaking additional remedial work where required.
- Carry out water hygiene tasks including sampling, monitoring, flushing, tank cleans & disinfections.
- Act as a mentor to junior plumbers.
