Our client, a specialist FM consultancy with a UK wide client base is looking for an experienced Foot Mobile Approved Electrician to work on commercial sites in Central London (zones 1-2). Candidates will need strong maintenance and fault-finding experience and be able to cover different locations across the above zones.
The Approved Electrician role will involve a range of work including:
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Inspection and testing
- Fault diagnosis
- Remedial works
- Small installation projects
Suitable Approved Electricians should be confident working independently in commercial environments and able to diagnose faults efficiently with minimal supervision. Some sites may require work outside normal office hours, so a flexible attitude to work is required.
Duties for the Approved Electrician will include:
- Electrical maintenance and repairs
- Fault finding on commercial and industrial systems
- Inspection, testing and EICRs
- Distribution boards and circuit testing
- Small works and remedial installations
- Liaising with site management providing expert guidance of contract requirements and further work requirements
Experience Required for the Approved Electrician:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition
- 2391 Inspection & Testing or 2394/5
- Experience carrying out EICRs and testing
- Ideally DBS checked
- Full UK driving licence
