£34,000-£38,000 + Overtime + Van (Private use) – based on a 40-hour week.

Join one of the UK’s leading independently owned Environmental Consultancies, with offices in the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, their Northern Division, the fastest-growing arm of the business, is expanding and currently requires an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join a well-established team of assessors.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality legionella risk assessments across a range of large commercial sites in the North and North-West including:

  • Schools and Educational establishments
  • Retail outlets
  • Hospitality venues
  • Government buildings

Duties of the Legionella Risk Assessor will include:

  • Legionella Risk Assessing (90% of the time)
  • Tank cleaning and disinfection, also tank inspections
  • Temperature reading on Hot and Cold Water Outlets – Calorifier and Cwst’s
  • Mains injections Dosing and Instilling
  • TMV servicing and repairs where needed
  • Basic Plumbing beneficial
  • 2 days working from home

Legionella Risk Assessor experience required:

  • 3+ years working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  • Proven experience covering water hygiene and plumbing duties where needed
  • Hold industry qualifications such as Legionella Awareness and City and Guilds Hot and Cold Water Systems course and C&G risk assessment course if risk assessor (C&G or equivalent)
  • Excellent customer service skills, dealing with customers face to face, maintaining site standards
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • A full UK driving licence and ability to cover the North and North-West
