Engineering and Water Services company that supply, install, and maintain water systems to commercial, industrial and large residential sites are actively looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join an existing engineering team of 12. Working on sites mainly in the London/South-East area with some stay aways required for quarterly reviews, locations will include Education, Healthcare, Offices, large Residential and Manufacturing/Warehouse.
Key duties for the Water Hygiene Engineer will include:
- Sampling, monitoring and tank cleans plus working on cooling towers and control panels
- Basic plumbing (training provided)
- Ensuring all site paperwork is maintained
- Identifying any health and safety risk, reporting back to office
- Recommending further site work to head office for client approval
To apply for the position the Water Hygiene Engineer will need to have 3+ years in a similar role, hold a full driving license, be DBS checked (ideally enhanced) and either have cooling tower experience or an interest to be trained in this field. Any mentoring/supervising experience would be beneficial and an interest to partake in planned overtime preferred. Working to a 40-hour week, travel time is taken into consideration, all staff will be provided with a van for private use, mobile phone and ongoing training.
