Environmental Compliance Consultancy with its head office in the South-East is actively looking to grow the team due to expansion and new contracts starting in September. They are specifically looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join an existing large team and cover contracts around South London, London and towards East Sussex.
Focusing on commercial sites and communal areas of high-rise buildings, the successful Water Hygiene Engineer will be supported by an internal project team who will help manage the work schedule, ensuring long hours are avoided and work is mapped out in advance to maintain a strong work/life balance. Overtime is available but optional, on-site time tends to be between 5-6 hours (depending on work location) enabling them to incorporate travel time into their day.
To apply for the Water Hygiene Engineer position, the successful candidate will ideally have the following background:
- 3+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician
- Full driving license
- DBS Checked
- Flexibility to cover the aforementioned areas
- Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail and a pride in the service they offer all clients
The Water Hygiene Engineer will cover work including Sampling, Monitoring, Descales, Tank Inspections/Cleans with knowledge of TMV servicing ideal. Specific training will be offered, and all staff will be given the opportunity to pick up new skills around plumbing, risk assessments and building services.
