A growing Building Services Consultancy is looking to strengthen its northern team by recruiting an experienced Maintenance Plumber to support a portfolio of high-profile commercial clients across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex. Additional sites may include retail developments, high-rise properties, industrial and healthcare facilities.

Experience summary as a Maintenance Plumber:

  • Over 4+ years’ experience operating as a Maintenance Plumber or Commercial Plumber, delivering planned, reactive and modifications/upgrades
  • Experienced doing install where required
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS checked
  • Familiarity with water hygiene responsibilities including Sampling, Monitoring and Flushing preferred

The Maintenance Plumber will be responsible for a range of duties to include:

  • Carrying out remedial plumbing tasks including - deadlegs, pipework modifications, TMV installs, tank/cylinder replacements
  • Install new pipework where required
  • Maintaining site logbooks identifying additional work for site compliance
  • Perform selected water hygiene duties where needed
  • Mentor junior members of the team

In return, the successful Maintenance Plumber will benefit from a comprehensive training package, van, overtime and site bonus and will work to a 40-hour week with travel time included.
