Established 40 years ago, our client is an IT Solution Provider to both the Private and Public sector. They are currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager or Field Sales Executive to join a large sales team focused on new client development through framework agreements or marketing activities for the private sector. Our client has UK wide coverage and an extensive technical and pre-sales team, enabling you to provide comprehensive IT Solutions within clients' budget and timeframes.
Knowledge of the IT Managed Services market (Reseller or Distributor) is essential, with specific experience in SaaS and Infrastructure being preferred. Candidates do not have to be South-East based but will be required to come into the office at least twice a week (other offices near Cardiff and Birmingham). All applicants must demonstrate a pro-active sales nature, as this role will have an element of account management, with the primary focus on identifying new revenue streams and expanding the client base.
Duties will include:
- Targeting a new client base of private and public sector clients.
- Working towards monthly sales targets, presenting IT solutions alongside the pre-sales team, quoting, developing business partnerships, and working closely with a dedicated internal sales team.
- Working in a hybrid fashion, coming into Head Office 2 days a week.
- Attending trade shows, vendor meetings, and new product and services launches.
Experience summary:
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience within IT Managed Services with a specific understanding of SaaS and IT Infrastructure.
- Full driving license and easy access to one of the office locations (hot desking).
- Proven track record of sales performance focused on new client development.
The successful candidate will benefit from an uncapped commission scheme, with performance accelerators in place to maximise earning potential.
