A large Water Compliance Consultancy is actively looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team and cover contracts in the Bristol area and around the South-West. The Water Hygiene Engineer will cover a range of duties including sampling, monitoring, descales, tank inspections and cleans.
Key duties for the Water Hygiene Engineer role will include:
- Water sampling in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
- Routine temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems
- Shower, tap and hose descales
- Water storage tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
- Maintaining site logbooks
Experience required for the Water Hygiene Engineer:
- 2+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician as a minimum
- Knowledge carrying out sampling, temperature monitoring, descaling, and tank cleans
- TMV servicing experience beneficial
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- DBS checked
The Water Hygiene Engineer role will come with full training where required and a benefits package including van, mobile, overtime and iPad. You will cover a range of sites including health care, education, retail and offices and will be part of a larger team.
