Facilities Management Consultancy, covering the UK are expanding their Midlands division and currently require an Approved Electrician. Qualified Electricians would also be considered if working for a facility management company on commercial sites. The main sites currently are large offices, but retail can also be expected, and all work is on long term projects.
The successful Approved Electrician will have the following background:
- A minimum of 4 years post qualification experience carrying out PPM and where required reactive/install work.
- Hold the following qualifications – 2391 (or 2394/5), AM2 and ideally 18th Edition.
- Full driving license and be happy to travel within 90 minutes of their home location.
- Ability to do planned overtime where needed should a project location need to be vacant for the work to be carried out.
- Previous experience working as a QS highly desirable.
The Approved Electrician will receive opportunities to grow within this role, taking on further training and the opportunity to move into a supervisory position. Work will be located along the M6 corridor going as far north as Manchester and south towards Birmingham. Some work outside the area may be required but this will be rare.
