Our client, an established Legionella and Water Hygiene Consultancy covering contracts across the commercial, healthcare and public sectors, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team.
The successful Water Hygiene Engineer will be responsible for carrying out a range of monitoring, sampling and cleaning duties across hot and cold-water systems following health and safety guidelines.
Duties for the Water Hygiene Engineer will include:
- Temperature monitoring on hot and cold-water systems
- Water sampling and closed system sampling
- Showerhead descales and disinfections
- CWST inspections and cleans
- TMV servicing and fail-safe testing
- Basic remedial plumbing works
- Completing site logbooks
Experience Required for the Water Hygiene Engineer:
- Previous experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Full understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
- Experience carrying out monitoring, sampling, descales and tank cleans
- Full UK driving licence
- DBS Checked
