Job summary
Key Purpose of the Post: Fermanagh and Omagh District Council welcome the investment of €2.3 million towards the Resilient Neighbours project under PEACEPLUS Programme, Investment Area 6.1, Strategic Planning and Engagement. The project, aptly named Resilient Neighbours, is aimed at strengthening emergency preparedness, response and recovery, while building safer and more resilient communities across the border region.
The project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). It has been designed collaboratively with Monaghan County Council and associate partners from The Executive Office and Office of Emergency Planning.
The Project Coordinator will manage the effective development, implementation, and delivery of the Resilient Neighbours Project on behalf of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council as Lead Partner. The postholder will provide strategic direction for one of the three pillars of the overall project namely; assessing and research phase, learning and development phase or community resilience phase.
