The Head of Parks, Estates and Property supports the Director in the strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Council's Parks, Estates and Property functions, ensuring strategic asset management, building maintenance, property management and insurances, grounds maintenance and horticulture, play parks, forest parks and outdoor spaces, cemeteries and crematoriums, as well as off-street car parks are effectively managed.

Key Purpose Of The Post

To support the Director and the Corporate Leadership Team in the strategic management of the Council, contributing to the development of and ensuring the delivery of the Council's Vision, values and strategic outcomes. To provide strategic and operational leadership across this service/function area and to ensure appropriate measures are implemented to enable efficient and effective performance management, continuous improvement and service transformation.
