The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Full-time role, Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm (covering 9am – 5pm on occasion to suit business needs), working alongside our experienced workshop planning and administration team. This role is a maternity cover position, for up to one year. There is potential for this to become a permanent role, depending on business needs.

Duties will include:

  • Liaise between drivers either on the phone or at the workshop reception
  • Liaise with other workshop members including managers, mechanics and stores personnel
  • Book in vehicles and data entry
  • Manage accident reporting spreadsheet with Health & Safety
  • General clerical duties to include filing / photocopying / stationary audits / first aid audits etc.
  • Invoice reconciliation processes, including tyre invoices
  • Ensuring all work carried out by Plant Fitter is recorded and followed up
  • Administration of inspection paperwork for trailers, units and small plant
  • Taking, logging and ensuring efficiency of ATF Bookings
  • Completing and updating daily/weekly fire log
  • Acting as first point of contact for all 3rd party work, contractual and ad hoc, including taking bookings, providing updates and liaising with internal departments for invoice preparation.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Previous experience within an administrative role (desirable, full training will be provided)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organisational skills with the ability to work within a time sensitive environment
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
