Ferguson Transport & Shipping are currently recruiting for a nightshift Shunter Operator based in Mallaig. Minimum 40 hours week with overtime opportunities.
Experience would be preferred however full training will be provided, including fork lift truck and Terberg Tug Works Vehicle Operation.
As a Shunter you will drive works vehicles with a variety of attachments; ensure safe and secure loading and unloading and move trailers around.
You will need to have a valid UK car driving licence, a positive attitude to work and be prepared to follow company policies and procedures.
There is potential for this role to be a progressive role and help you to, in time, gain your HGV class 1 licence for a candidate wanting to progress to HGV Driving with Ferguson Transport & Shipping.
