Overview Ferguson Transport & Shipping are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Timber Driver to join their team based in Fort William or Invergordon. Previous timber haulage experience is required for this role.
Our drivers are required to have the following skills and attributes: HGV Class 1 driving licence and previous timber haulage driving experience, including crane operations An good understanding and knowledge of the EU/WT Regulations Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with all colleagues Ensuring safe and secure loading of cargo at all times To undertake to complete all necessary daily checks / records and complete the appropriate paperwork as required An Emergency First Aid at Work certificate is an advantage, however not essential as training can be provided In return we offer: Flexible working patterns Competitive hourly rates of pay Aggregated holiday pay Additional holidays after 5 years of service Length of service loyalty payments Modern fleet of vehicles which are maintained to the highest standards
