What You\'ll Be Doing
Working with a small, agile Design team and multidisciplinary team you will be responsible for transforming concepts into reality. We are a diverse group of engineers, each bringing unique expertise to the table, from naval architecture and marine engineering to electrical and automation systems.
Develop and design electrical systems for marine vessels, including:
Power distribution systems (AC/DC).
Lighting and control systems.
Propulsion systems.
Automation and control systems.
Communication and navigation systems.
Safety systems (e.g., fire alarm, emergency lighting).
Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and load analysis.
Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, LR, DNV GL), and MCA regulations.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines appropriate to the role.
Experience
Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven track record as an electrical engineer in both design office and construction environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
