A regional professional practice in Chester is looking for a new Adviser to join their team. The practice works closely with the Private Client arm of the practice and has a solid portfolio of clients, ranging broadly from £100k to £1m. The team is presently at three, with the Head of FS tasked with growing the team in line with the demands of the legal arm.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Portfolio reviews with existing clients.
  • Working with the retiring adviser on their client portfolio.
  • Using cash flow modelling and lifestyle financial planning as required.
  • Understanding a client's needs and having proficiency in more complex matters, especially IHT, VCT, EIS and SIPP/SSAS schemes.
  • Maintaining up to date and compliant client files in conjunction with the technical team.
  • Keeping up to date CPD.
  • Actively seeking out new client opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in IHT, VCT, EIS and SIPP/SSAS schemes.
  • Experience with cash flow modelling and lifestyle financial planning.
  • Strong client file management and compliance in coordination with the technical team.
  • Active CPD maintenance.
