We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic outpatient therapy team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, from infants and children to adults and seniors, delivering evidence-based, compassionate care to help individuals achieve maximum independence and quality of life. Flexibility in scheduling as Part Time and Casual positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan with a variety of physical, developmental, sensory, and cognitive challenges.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, age-specific needs, and clinical assessment.
- Provide age-appropriate therapeutic interventions, including sensory integration, fine motor coordination, ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and caregiver education.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other providers.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Educate families and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support functional improvement.
- Maintain a safe and engaging therapy environment for patients of all ages.
Qualifications:
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Experience or strong interest in working with both pediatric and adult/geriatric populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt treatment approaches across age groups and diagnoses.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred:
- Previous outpatient therapy experience.
- Training or certifications in pediatric sensory integration, developmental delays, or neurological rehabilitation.
