Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support including managing emails, preparing quotations, and onboarding new customers.
- Coordinating sample logistics with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery and compliance with import regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records in CRM and LIMS systems, including customer data and sample tracking.
- Supporting stock control by conducting weekly stocktakes and preparing consumables for shipment and sterilisation.
- Assisting laboratory operations during peak periods with sample preparation, equipment checks, and housekeeping tasks.
- Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, purchase order management, and delivery coordination for AHM customers.
- Reviewing laboratory reports, quotes, and tenders for accuracy and maintaining up-to-date price lists.
- Liaising with mailroom and regulatory bodies to manage sample arrivals and notify relevant teams of any issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a laboratory or scientific environment.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel; experience with LIMS is a plus.
- Excellent written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and terminology is desirable.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to develop laboratory skills through ad hoc training.
