About the role
As a Merchandiser at Fenwick, you will take ownership of defined product categories and drive meaningful commercial impact across the business. You’ll lead the end-to-end execution of merchandising activities, from range planning and stock management to pricing, promotion, and visual execution – ensuring every decision supports sales growth, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience. With responsibility for Open-to-Buy management and supply chain alignment, you’ll play a central role in keeping stock levels optimised and supporting the wider trading strategy.
Success in the role relies on strong analytical capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to identify opportunities that improve efficiency and maximise profit. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Buying, Retail, Digital, Logistics and Finance to translate insights into action, refine assortment strategies, and ensure a seamless experience both online and in store. This is a highly collaborative position where your ability to influence, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships will be essential.
As a leader, you’ll coach and motivate a high-performing team of Assistant Merchandisers, helping to shape their development while driving results through clear planning and accountability. With a focus on continuous improvement, strategic thinking, and operational excellence, this role offers the chance to make a significant contribution to the business and help shape the future of our merchandising function.
