About the role
We’re looking for a Digital Concession Trader to help shape and drive the success of Fenwick’s growing online concession business. In this pivotal role, you’ll maximise trading opportunities, optimise product ranges and ensure each digital concession aligns with our wider retail strategy. With a focus on sales and profitability, you’ll play a key part in creating an engaging and seamless customer experience while supporting Fenwick’s continued digital growth.
You’ll analyse performance across categories, identify trends and opportunities to enhance conversion and profitability. Working closely with Buying, Merchandising and Digital teams, you’ll develop data‑led ranging and trading strategies, manage product launches and updates and ensure accurate, optimised product content across our digital platforms. Your commercial insight will guide decisions around assortment, promotions and pricing to deliver measurable results.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with brand partners will be at the heart of your role. You’ll collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to deliver effective promotional campaigns and seasonal trading activity while ensuring smooth operational execution. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual with a strong retail or digital merchandising background to make a tangible impact in a fast‑evolving area of the business.
What we are looking for in a candidate
- Proven experience in buying, selling and merchandising within a retail environment.
- Success in developing product strategies, building business cases and demonstrating strong analytical capabilities.
- Experience operating and influencing within a retail multichannel environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with eCommerce merchandising software and analytics tools.
- Shopify and Agility PIM experience ideal but not required.
- Commercially aware with a strong trading focus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
- The ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- The ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines.
