We have 16 hour weekend-only contracts available working set shifts of 8am-4pm.

About the role

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our distribution centre, helping to ensure products are received, processed and dispatched efficiently. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be involved in a variety of warehouse activities, including receiving deliveries, stock handling, pricing, picking, packing and preparing orders for stores and customers.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will work across different areas of the warehouse, maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation and presentation while helping to ensure stock is processed and distributed in a timely manner. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential, as you will help ensure products reach our stores correctly priced, packaged and ready for sale.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to the smooth flow of stock throughout the distribution centre while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a practical role, thrives in a busy setting and takes pride in delivering great results behind the scenes.

What we are looking for in a candidate…

  • An interest in / passion for working in a logistics environment and the desire to learn and be part of a dynamic and driven team
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse/logistics environment
  • Previous experience with working with warehouse management systems
  • Experience in data input and a knowledge of D365 is beneficial
  • Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting (although this is kept to a minimum)

You will be invited to one of our Assessment Centres, designed to give you valuable insight into both the role and life at Fenwick, while allowing us to learn more about your skills and experience.
